Kiss The Bride

Joy overflowed from her heart. “I love you.”
He lowered his mouth to hers. She gave in to the kiss, feeling as if she’d come home. The gentle kiss spoke of possibilities and the future.
Their future.
She backed away. “We have to go slow. Do it right.”
“I agree. We have the rest of our lives to be together. Let’s build a solid foundation that will last for the next fifty or sixty years.

Book: Kiss The Bride by Melissa McClone, Robin Lee Hatcher and Kathryn Springer

Genre: Romance Novellas
Target Audience: Adult Women
Subjects: Romance, love, trust, forgiveness
Summary: He believed a lie and left her to figure out how to cancel a very expensive wedding. Now he’s back wanting forgiveness for himself and a second chance for the sister who was truly responsible for the destruction of his political career. And maybe… a second chance for himself too. That’s the first novella.
The second tells the story of the guy with two left feet. He is pathetic on the dance floor, but the bride and groom demand everyone take lessons in preparation for their wedding. Due to his schedule, he gets private lessons and attraction is swift to follow. When he learns of her dreams for the future though, he runs in panic – she wants the very thing he swore he would never do! It’s gonna take a serious pounding to knock sense into this thick skull!
Ouch! The memories still carry a sting today! Hollis Channing worked hard to make MacKenzie’s life miserable in high school. When Mac runs into Hollis’ older brother – the one she had a serious crush on, she makes every attempt to escape. She’s not the only one who fought attraction though. Ethan was and still is pretty taken with the young woman and has no intention of letting her go that easily!
Notes: Kiss The Bride is a compilation of three novellas about characters who get roped into helping prepare for a wedding and in the process find themselves dreaming of having a wedding of their own. Each story has it’s own focus. Picture Perfect Love deals with forgiveness and trust – Jenna has to forgive the betrayal of Ashton. Ashton has to learn to trust the woman he loves. I Hope You Dance shows Grant wrestling with a mixed up view of his life. He thinks he missed out on something or was made to suffer needlessly through having a big family. He has to learn to see it as the blessing it is before he can pursue a future with a woman who dreams of lots of kids. Love On A Deadline has MacKenzie assuming that everyone believes the worst of her. She has to see herself as valuable before she can accept the love of Ethan.

1 John 4:18 – There is no fear in love. But perfect love, drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
